| Provincial Appointment For Bro N. Vaughan | ||
On the 27th June
2009 Bro N. Vaughan left his home in Pattingham, Shropshire and travelled to Birmingham University, Selly
Oak in Birmingham where he attended the meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge. At this very special meeting, he
was duly and justly appointed to the rank of Past Provincial
Grand Standard Bearer. Below is an image of Bro Norman sporting his new regalia.
Bro Norman Vaughan But what makes this appointment a little more special than others is the Regalia that Bro Norman is wearing. With kind permission from his widow, it has been passed on from a previous member of the Lodge, W.Bro T. Light who passed away several years ago. Bro Norman has been a very loyal servant to our Lodge for many years and in North Worcestershire Lodge, Bro Norman is the third longest serving member. He has never wanted to be a Master of the Lodge, always opting to stay a Master Mason. He has made the role of Senior Steward his own and never sees any of the brethren or visitors with an empty glass. Bro Norman is hard working and a very pleasant man, his presence at the Lodge is sorely missed when he can not attend due to his health. May every member from North Worcestershire Lodge be the first to congratulate him with his appointment to Provincial Lodge and wish him every success for the future in his new role.
