North Worcestershire Lodge meets at the Stechford Masonic Hall, Bordesley Green Rd East, Birmingham B33 8TN. The North Worcestershire Lodge was consecrated on 28th February 1968 and in 2008 celebrated its 40th anniversary. There are currently nineteen lodge members, and two Honorary Members whose ages range from the early 30's to the mid 80's!
The North Worcestershire Lodge is one of the many Lodges which is ruled by the Province of Worcestershire.
The Lodge has a wealth of experience in its Past Masters, Grand and Provincial Officers who in turn complement the enthusiasm of the younger brethren providing a good mix of knowledge and a willingness to learn.
The North Worcestershire Lodge boasts a slightly relaxed attitude, yet still manages to produce good ritual on the 'square'. We are known as a friendly Lodge and, being only small in numbers, we try very hard to ensure all our visitors enjoy their time with us, as we appreciate their importance.
Meetings
The Lodge meets 6 times a year on the first Friday in the months of February (Installation of the new master), March, April, October, November and December.
Meeting Times
The Lodge commences at 6.00pm, except for Installations, when there is a 5.30pm start.
Dress
As per other Lodges, dark clothing with white collar, Craft, Provincial or black tie and black shoes should be worn. In this Lodge, white gloves are worn when the Lodge is open. This regulation must be strictly observed.
Membership
The membership of the Lodge is open to all men of good stature and is not restricted to the Province of Worcestershire. Some of our members come from as far afield as Norfolk and Derbyshire, and one member jets in every meeting from abroad.
Joining
If you are interested in joining our Lodge or have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Lodge Secretary.
